Didn't even know this park existed, my company had their family fun day there and I was thoroughly impressed. Nice pool, basketball courts, a train ride, marry go round etc etc.
I am from Gibsonville and as a child we had to go to Greensboro or Burlington to go to a large park with amenities. So I love the fact that Northeast Park is just through the woods behind where I grew up! I am still a kid at heart and we love to take my nieces here. Northeast Park in Gibsonville, NC has wonderful amenities for adults and children alike. The park is always clean and the staff are friendly and down to earth. I love the fact they have have putt-putt, a train, a carousel, a huge pool and waterfall area, playgrounds, picnic shelter areas and clubhouse for rental, baseball field, soccer field, tennis court, basketball court, a lake for fishing and trains for hiking, running, and horseback riding. What more can you ask for!?!
My family and I absolutely love this park. No matter what your interests are...there is always something special for everyone! Beautiful place!
We held an event here and though its a bit far out, its very nice. We really liked the Merry-Go-Round! Be advised to open the Merry-Go-Round for private functions is extra.
Nice trails, playgrounds, facilities, always a nice place to spend time. Fireworks on July 4th are great and the Christmas Lights are always well done.
